Introduction to Tailwheel Operations/Flight Review

If you're due for your Flight Review, why not combine it with our Introduction to Tailwheel Operations course. This course will give you an hour of dual instruction in my 1948 Cessna 170. You'll learn the basics of handling tailwheel airplanes and have the opportunity to decide if you'd like to pursue the full-fledged Tailwheel Endorsement. Additionally we'll have the full hour of ground school as required by FAR 61.56 to meet your Flight Review requirements. The cost of this course is a modest $200 and will take about three hours total, with a thorough pre- and post flight briefing, one hour of dual instruction, and one hour of ground school. The course can be scheduled for either mornings or afternoons.

Note: This course will not result in a Tailwheel Endorsement!

Light Sports Aircraft/Homebuilt Pilots

If you're the owner of a light sports aircraft and hold a sports pilot license, I can give you an introduction to tailwheel operations which will be tailored to your specific needs. Similarly if you're a homebuilder who has built and not yet flown a taildragger, this is a great opportunity to check out in a Taildragger.

Ferry/Training Services

If you're in need of an experienced tailwheel CFI to conduct ferry or training operations in your airplane please give me a call. I charge $60/hour with a minimum charge of 10 hours and expenses (hotel etc.).
